On December 7, the "Digital Sailing, Building Together - Digital Silk Road Development Forum" was held in Nanning. Experts and industry representatives from government departments, universities, research institutions, international industry cooperation platforms, and enterprises gathered together to explore the digital development path of the "Belt and Road" facing ASEAN.

The conference released the latest results of the China Mobile Think Tank, the "Belt and Road Digital Infrastructure Practice and Development Report". The report pointed out that the practice of "Belt and Road" digital infrastructure construction is of great significance in narrowing the digital divide, enhancing economic resilience, and promoting diversified innovation. It has achieved remarkable results in mutual benefit and win-win along the line, "hard connectivity" capabilities, "soft connectivity" rules, and overseas ecology, contributing multiple values in the fields of production, trade, people's livelihood, and governance, and there are development opportunities in digital governance, scientific and technological innovation, international exchanges, and green development.

In recent years, Guangxi has vigorously promoted the interconnection of digital infrastructure, built 12 international land optical cables to ASEAN, established bilateral technology transfer mechanisms with 9 ASEAN countries, established remote medical cooperation mechanisms with 4 ASEAN countries, and the digital Silk Road facing ASEAN is constantly deepening. At present, Guangxi is accelerating the construction of new infrastructure, insisting on digital driving, and empowering the development of the real economy with digital; deepening digital field cooperation facing ASEAN, relying on the China-ASEAN Information Harbor to actively build an international communication channel facing ASEAN and serving Central and Southwest China, helping to build a community of shared future in cyberspace.

The conference also held a special exhibition for the 10th anniversary of China Mobile's "Belt and Road", showing the related achievements and practical cases of China Mobile in the "Belt and Road" field over the past ten years. It is understood that as a central enterprise in communications, China Mobile actively integrates into the construction of the "Belt and Road" and the "Digital Silk Road", builds high-quality digital infrastructure, opens up the "Belt and Road" information channel, and revolves around the policy opportunity of jointly building the "Belt and Road", promoting Chinese standards and Chinese solutions to "go global" at a high level.
